An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Gas Engineer to join an organisation experiencing rapid growth across numerous sectors.

Eclipse Energy is a Halifax based business, operating in the energy efficiency and home improvements industries. Our current work ranges from large scale contracts with local authorities through to able-to-pay work in the domestic market.

Due to a significant rise in demand for our products and services, we are seeking to hire an experienced Gas Engineer to work predominantly across the West Yorkshire area.

About the Role

  • Experienced Gas Engineer
  • Work includes but not limited to:
    • Installation of boilers and heating systems predominantly through the ECO scheme.
    • In-day response to remedial and repair works.
    • Full-time, Monday to Friday 40 Hours per week (normally 8.00-16.00).
    • West Yorkshire Based.
    • The candidate will be required to take part in an On Call rota.

About the Candidate

  • Full Gas qualifications required (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1)
  • Must have a good understanding and knowledge of installation of combi boiler and system boilers.
  • Previous experience of working to ECO standards preferred but not essential.
  • Basic IT knowledge for use of iPad to evidence installations.
  • 3 Years previous experience.
  • Excellent customer service

Canvass Manager/Lead Generation
Canvass Manager – Lead Generation

Owing to continued growth within the business, Eclipse Energy are looking to hire a Canvass Manager/Head of Lead Generation to head up our door canvassing division and lead a team of other door canvassers. Working on various projects, from home improvements to council-funded energy efficiency measures, this covers a range of funded and able-to-pay schemes, with uncapped earning potential.

About Eclipse Energy

Eclipse have worked across West Yorkshire installing energy efficient measures in homes, both domestically and as part of large government contracts. We are the main sponsor of Halifax Panthers Rugby League and won the 2019 Halifax Courier Sustainable Business of the Year Award.

Due to our great company reputation, we work closely with numerous local authorities across Yorkshire, installing funded energy efficient home improvements, such as room in roof insulation. There is significant demand for these in the target areas, due to the products being high value (£5k+) and fully funded through local authority schemes. The chosen candidate will be a key player in sourcing these new customers.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Business Development Director, the chosen candidate will be responsible for leading all offline lead generation, working in conjunction with existing marketing campaigns.

You will be given areas which the company will be targeting with other marketing, including online adverts, and leafletting, and play a crucial role in signing up potential customers for both government funded schemes and paid-for home improvement products.

The chosen candidate will take a leading role in our new business development, being a champion of our offline marketing as part of a broader marketing strategy. The role will also require management experience, developing other door canvassers as we expand this division of the company.

Owing to continued growth within the business, Eclipse Energy are looking to hire conservatory roof insulation installers on a full-time basis to join a rapidly growing team. Details of the job are as follows:

Salary negotiable, plus bonuses reviewed quarterly.

Van, fuel card, training and appropriate PPE will be provided.

Driving licence required.

Conservatory roof installer needed. Working with a labourer/trainee you must be able to work unsupervised. The role will predominantly involve working in customers houses so a good customer service attitude is vital.

Can do attitude, good presentation and reliability pre-requisite.

Working alongside an experienced team and liaising with our installation manager, the job will be installing conservatory roof insulation, or replacing conservatory roofs with an insulated tiled system.

We have a significant waiting list, with consistent ongoing work for motivated installers.

Full training will be given, and a permanent position will be offered to the right applicant after a probationary period.

Working alongside an experienced team and liaising with our installation manager, the job will be anything from, lifting/taking up existing floors, assisting our decorating teams, insulating voids between rafters and re-laying the floors to aiding our ventilation team in fitting extractor fans and trickle vents
